Vote Centers

Delaware County is switching to a Vote Center model for voting starting with the 2026 Primary.
(adopted by Delaware County Election Board, September 2025)

-- Vote Centers provide significant convenience for voters
Voters may cast their ballots on Election Day at any vote center in the jurisdiction, regardless of their residential address (as long as they live within the county jurisdiction).

-- Vote Centers use fewer locations and fewer poll workers.
-- Vote Centers reduce the amount of equipment deployed
-- Vote Centers often generate cost savings

Election Day Vote Centers rely on Electronic Poll Books and for all voting systems to be programmed with proper ballot selections for all voters within the county. This ensures that voters cannot vote in multiple locations and that each voter casts their vote with the correct contest selections.
